I am an experienced technician providing oboe and english horn adjustment services as well as professional-grade knife sharpening.

I also make and sell high-quality reeds for oboe and and english horn.

My goal is to provide oboe and english horn players of all levels with access to the highest quality materials and services. I make all my reeds, for students and professionals alike, with the same precision and professionalism as for my own instruments.

Oboe and English Horn Reeds

  • Oboe $40/reed

    English Horn $50/reed

  • A professional-level reed suitable for all styles of playing. These reeds are responsive, colorful, stable, with a rich tone.

  • Please click this link to send me an email with your shipping address, order information, and any additional requests. Shipping fee is $7 or pickup is available in Chicago Lakeview neighborhood.

Oboe Adjustment

  • $60/hour, expected time 1 hour.

  • Oboe and English Horn adjustment for all makes and models.

  • Adjustment services available in Chicago area. Email me to make an appointment.

Knife Sharpening

  • $25 per knife drop-off/pickup Chicago Lakeview neighborhood.

    By mail available for an additional fee.

    Travel/in-home option available to Chicago area for additional fee.

  • Sharpening will be to #1,500 grit using Shapton Professional sharpening stones.

  • Sharpening services available in Chicago area or by mail. Email me to make an appointment.
